Lisa Morris

About Me

Lisa Morris is an Entrepreneur, Philanthropist,  Broadway and West End Theater Producer, and Impact Investor. A former Broadway actress, she founded the entertainment travel company Road Concierge, which was acquired by the global travel agency ALTOUR. She remains with Road Concierge as President, running the entertainment travel vertical under the Internova Travel group. 

After the acquisition, Lisa began investing her own funds into a variety of Impact Investments. She is an Activator with Coralus, a philanthropic venture fund that supports and funds Female Founded companies. She is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence through Columbia with the NYSERDA program as a pitch coach. She is a member of the NEXUS Impact Society, The Unreasonable Collective, Global Leaders Investment Club, Top Tier Impact, and Adoreum Club. She consults for a variety of nonprofit organizations, most recently with the Epic Foundation, Center for Greater Good, and the Mary Tyler Moore Foundation. She sits on the Advisory Boards of  Vital Options international, Carelink 360 and the WiTT fund Advisory council. She consults for numerous startups. She currently serves as the Director of Philanthropic Services for FORCE Family Office.

Her primary role is as Managing Director of AKS Family Partners LP and Vice President of AKS Family Foundation. 

Investment Mandate

I invest in social impact companies. Typical stages are seed/Series A, but I have invested in pre-seed companies with particularly compelling thesis. Preference is for female founders or founders of color. I do make some fund investments, but typically only with emerging managers that I know well. My focus is direct investments.

I ONLY invest in companies that have an element of Impact- this can include: theater, education, health/wellness, diversity/inclusion, sustainability, climate, cleantech.
